Been working my way through my writer's block. I think I've got the upper hand on the thing now (my case was one of having the ideas, but not a very good plan for carrying them out).
I'm probably about two or three scenes away (maybe four) from being able to post it (Am through scene five now). Hope to post it over the weekend. Either that or I'll hold off until August as then this way, Episode 16 will kick off a new month. :)
I'd have posted it this week (and I still might if I can get through it today) as per my blog entry on ATS Central, but some RL events got in the way. I'm still in the midst of that, however I'm hopeful I can slip this episode in before the next round. :)

Progress BUT....

Episode 16 Progress....
At last there's some progress. :) :) :)
Thanks to Hurricane Dennis, I have a WONDERFULLY WICKED idea to add some spice to some of the storylines.
How does a hurricane hitting Cedarville sound to you?
I've also thought of a terrorist attack, but that wouldn't look so well without a storyline to back it up (afterall isn't that what TV show 24 does?). I'm thinking this will be something long term.
I've also thought of the ol' disgruntled employee going on a shooting rampage (The FonDuLac Hotel would be prime for something like this). But in order to pull it off right, there needs to be a scene to set the stage. While this could easily be done, I thought it was just too "old skool" to write. It's been done online and on TV how many hundreds of times now? Far too many for me to keep count.
Plus, the nice thing about Cedarville being hit by a hurricane is not everyone is not everyone has to die. Though it will make for some very interesting scenes (mostly good) indeed.
Besides, I can't recall the last time a town in soap opera land was hit by a hurricane. Floods yeah. Tornadoes maybe. But a hurricane? Almost never. Can you?
The show should be up by this weekend or the start of next week.

New Updates Blog & Still Working On Episode 16
Inspired by the Producer/Writer of Brookline University, who created this blog for posting writing status & updates, I decided to take the plunge myself. From now on, progress updates of each episode will be posted on this blog so you can have a rough idea as to when the actual episode will appear on the main page itself.
Now, with that out of the way, that brings me to this. I've got Writer's Block. As such, Episode 16 will be a little late (I usually post on Saturdays just in time for the new week). I've got one scene done (the one that's before and after the new musical intros). But the next two scenes look LAME at best - and I do mean LAME.
I have NO idea as to when ATS Episode 16 will be posted. I'm hoping it's soon. I have a pretty good idea where I want to go with the episode, but I just don't quite know how it's all going to play out. I've got a pretty good idea as to how it's going to end, but I need to get the rest of the show to that point because the ending will be much later in the day time wise than the episode currently is (It's not even lunch time in Cedarville and the troops on day watch are all asleep in Baghdad). I've got to figure out how I'm going to stretch things whereas it looks like I've put together a pretty good episode by the time the ending comes. As it is now, it looks like a Twinkie without the creme center filling. :(
Anyhow....Just wanted to say thanks to ariesring (the Producer/Writer of Brrokline University) for the inspiration to dedicate a blog to something like this. Hope you get your two-part episode or whatever it is you're working on done. :)
